Toby Wheeler

Toby has led RCI through collaborative design-build projects that required early equipment selection and partnering with the design team to best implement them in the project. He has led the development of estimates, working with subcontractors efficiently to procure materials that meet schedule milestones and restrictions while reducing the client’s capital expenditure for the project.Toby is experienced providing estimates on projects ranging from $100K to $22M. He understands that keeping a close eye on the company’s labor factors and material escalation in the industry are necessary to ensure project estimates reflect the current market conditions as well as accurate construction costs and inflation. He uses a database of estimates to compare real, historical values for scopes of work similar to this program. Toby understands how much labor is required to complete this work and will provide accurate milestone estimates based on historical values, having estimated for numerous projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. Toby’s versatility as both a project manager and an estimator enables him to price and come up with alternatives quickly while taking into account the overall project.
